A compact 2-night add-on that takes travelers from Jerusalem or Tel Aviv across the Allenby Bridge into Jordan for the rose-red city of Petra and a night in Amman before departure or re-entry to Israel. Operated by our supplier our operations partner with an English-speaking Jordanian guide in Jordan. Can be booked alongside any Christian Israel Tours hosted or private itinerary.
Morning transfer from Jerusalem (or Tel Aviv) to the Allenby Bridge, assistance at the border, and onward drive down the Desert Highway to Petra. Overnight in Wadi Musa.
Guided tour of Petra. Walk the Siq to the Treasury, continue to the Roman theatre, the Royal Tombs and the Colonnaded Street. Optional climb to the Monastery in the afternoon. Overnight in Wadi Musa.
Drive north to Amman for a short panoramic city tour (Citadel, Roman theatre) before your flight home from Queen Alia Airport, or onward transfer back to Israel via Sheikh Hussein Bridge.
