Who plans the trip — and how long has Christian Israel Tours been running?

Christian Israel Tours is a US-Israeli operator founded in 1984. We have led Christian groups through the Holy Land for over 40 years from offices in Boca Raton, Florida and Tel Aviv, Israel. Every itinerary is designed in-house and run with Israel Ministry of Tourism-licensed guides.

Where do your tours actually go in the Holy Land?

Our standard 9–11 day Christian itineraries cover Jerusalem (Old City, Mount of Olives, Garden of Gethsemane, Holy Sepulchre, Garden Tomb, Western Wall), Bethlehem, the Sea of Galilee region (Capernaum, Mount of Beatitudes, Tabgha, Magdala), Nazareth, Mount Tabor, the Dead Sea, Masada, and Caesarea Maritima. Many groups add a 2-night Jordan extension covering Petra, Wadi Rum, and Mount Nebo.

How much does a Holy Land tour with you cost?

Fully-inclusive 9–11 day Christian Israel tours from US gateways generally run $4,500–$6,000 per person twin-share in 2026. That covers round-trip airfare, 4-star hotels, daily breakfast and dinner, licensed guide, all entrance fees, transportation, and gratuities for guide and driver. Adding a 2-night Petra/Jordan extension typically adds $850–$1,200 per person.

When can my church group travel with you?

We run pastor-hosted departures throughout 2026 and 2027, with peak seasons in March–May (Holy Week and Easter pilgrimages) and September–November (Sukkot and ideal weather). Custom group itineraries can depart any month of the year. We recommend booking 6–10 months ahead to lock in pricing and hotel blocks.

Is Israel safe for Christian tour groups right now?

We monitor US State Department guidance and Israeli security advisories daily and adjust itineraries as needed. Israel is one of the most heavily-secured tourism destinations in the world, and Christian sites operate under extra security during high-traffic seasons. We strongly recommend trip cancellation insurance and offer full refunds for departures we ourselves cancel due to safety concerns.

Are there fixed weekly departures?

Yes — every departure on this program is on a Sunday. The full list of available dates through Feb 2027 is shown on the booking page; we follow the published Diesenhaus calendar.

Are children welcome?

Children sharing a parents' room receive a child rate (varies by package). Some itineraries crossing into Jordan have a minimum age of 5; the booking page calls this out per tour.

Is the tour available with a private car?

Yes — the same itinerary is also offered with a private car and private guide. Pricing is on request; contact us for a tailored quote.

Is this tour appropriate for young children?

Children under 5 are not accepted on this tour.

Our Classic Interfaith program extended into Jordan. Nine nights cover Tel Aviv, the Galilee, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Masada and the Dead Sea. Then cross into Jordan for Jerash, an Amman city tour and a full day walking the Siq into Petra.

Petra's Rose City

Drive the Desert Highway south, walk the Siq, and stand before Petra's carved facades. Overnight in Petra.

Petra, Madaba & Return

A second visit to Petra, then Madaba's Byzantine mosaic map and Mount Nebo before crossing back to Israel and Tel Aviv. Overnight in Tel Aviv.

Departure

Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for departure.
